Point count route, Griffith Park, Los Angeles CA
Count the birds.
On the survey route at Point count route, a surveyor photographs the habitat with a camera, counts for a set time, and writes down every species seen or heard. Read all of it

All of it: the words, the place, the proof
Run a dawn point count at Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA for a baseline. The route hosts breeding birds every spring, but no standing count exists to tell if the population is stable, growing, or declining.
Fund it for $340. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.
Safety, read before you claim

How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Tell someone your plan and route, pack water, then go to the place the title names.
- Choose several count points, or one transect line, spread across the habitat there, number them in visiting order, and write down one count duration and one count radius or transect length to use at every point.
- Plan one pass for each group the title names: a dawn pass starting at first light for birds, and a midday pass in warm daylight for pollinators.
- At the first point of a pass, record the GPS waypoint, start time, weather and wind, and photograph the habitat.
- Count for the chosen duration within the chosen radius, or along the chosen transect length, writing every species seen or heard with its count, and pollinators to species or the nearest group you can name.
- Move through the remaining points in order, repeating the waypoint, conditions, habitat photo and count at each one, and complete every pass planned.
- Add up the total effort: points visited, the duration at each, and the number of passes.
- Enter the per-point species lists with counts, the GPS waypoint for each point, the duration, radius and total effort, the weather, wind and start time for each pass, and the habitat photos in the proof record.
What counts as done
- Per-point species list with counts
- GPS waypoint per point
- Count duration/radius + total effort
- Weather + wind + start time
- Habitat photos
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1783444501185_gw7l3a3","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
