Refinery-adjacent neighborhood, Port Arthur TX
Build the standing community air-quality record.
A worker in hi-vis holds a PM2.5 monitor at an outdoor monitoring point near Refinery-adjacent neighborhood, logging each reading with the time and a note on nearby source activity. Read all of it

All of it: the words, the place, the proof
Build the standing community air-quality record for the refinery-adjacent neighborhood in Port Arthur, TX. Port Arthur, TX residents want a signed, standing record of air quality near the refinery corridor they can bring to public hearings instead of relying on industry-reported numbers alone.
Fund it for $384. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.
Safety, read before you claim
No special training is needed. Wear hi-vis at roadside and industrial-adjacent points, never go onto an active roadway or rail, and limit exposure time on high-activity days.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- a PM2.5 monitor to take PM2.5 readings at each point
Steps
- Put on hi-vis before going to the first monitoring point.
- Choose three outdoor points in the area the title names: one near the source, one mid-way and one in the background.
- Photograph each of the three monitoring points and record each one's GPS waypoint.
- Over a peak period, take PM2.5 readings at each point and log each one in µg/m³ with a label naming the point and the time.
- Write a wind and time note for the readings.
- Write a source-activity observation of what the nearby sources are doing while you log.
- Compare each logged reading with the national air-quality limit for PM2.5 and write the comparison note.
- Enter the photos, GPS waypoints, PM2.5 log, wind and time note, source-activity observation and NAAQS comparison note in the proof record.
What counts as done
- Photos of monitoring locations
- GPS waypoints (≥3 points: near-source, mid, background)
- PM2.5 log (µg/m³) each point over a peak period
- Wind + time note
- Source-activity observation
- Comparison to NAAQS note
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1783451229063_sh6o42d","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
