Steps

1. Photograph the site BEFORE with GPS on and a legible timestamp; confirm you are inside the posting radius.
2. 2. Record the shoreline length worked and the number of people.
3. 3. Collect and sort by category as you go; do not bag mixed and estimate later.
4. 4. Sharps to a rigid container only.
5. 5. Weigh each stream separately and record.
6. 6. Note any entangled wildlife or large debris and report rather than handling.
7. Photograph AFTER from the same position as the before shot.

If it does not match the plan

• Entangled or dead wildlife -> do not handle; report to the local authority.
• Drums or unlabelled containers -> photograph, do not move, report.
• Rising tide or unstable bank -> stop; partial work documented beats an injury.
• Sharps in a soft bag -> repack into rigid before transport.

What counts as done

• Before and after photos from the same position, GPS inside the posting radius, timestamps legible
• Shoreline length and participant count recorded
• Weights recorded per stream
• Sharps in a rigid container, visible in the record
• Wildlife encounters reported rather than handled
