Ohio no-till corn cropland, Findlay OH

Measure the soil-carbon sample plot.

A technician drives a soil corer into the marked plot at Ohio no-till corn cropland, pulling soil cores at each depth, then bagging and labeling every sample for the lab. Read all of it

All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Measure the soil-carbon sample plot at Ohio no-till corn cropland, Findlay OH. Ohio no-till corn cropland near Findlay, OH is enrolled in an improved-agricultural-land-management soil-carbon program, but its next core-sampling round hasn't been done, without a fresh round, the farm's carbon-credit claim has no current field data behind it.

Fund it for $312. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
GPS-matched stratum + paired SOC/bulk-density cores + chain-of-custody: Real, Proven, One-of-one

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

Safety, read before you claim

No special training needed. Field sampling only: do not change management practice or disturb soil beyond the approved coring, and flag any land-use or grazing anomaly inconsistent with the registered project boundary to the proponent, never adjust it on-site.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • GPS-capable phone or survey-grade GPS
  • soil corer/auger with depth markings for each required increment (e.g. 0-30cm, 30-60cm)
  • bulk-density core sampler (known-volume rings)
  • sample bags + waterproof labels
  • cooler for same-day lab transport
  • field data sheet / project carbon-stratum map
  • camera

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm the sampling point against the project's registered carbon-stratum map and GPS coordinates; record the stratum ID.
  2. 2. Photograph the sampling location and surrounding management context (tillage pass, cover crop, residue, grazing evidence).
  3. 3. Extract paired composite soil cores at each required depth increment per the stratum's minimum sample count in the Sampling and Monitoring Plan.
  4. 4. Collect an intact bulk-density core at each depth increment using a known-volume ring; label with stratum, depth, and replicate number.
  5. 5. Log management-practice metadata (tillage, cover-crop presence, residue retention, amendments, grazing rotation) for the stratum since the last monitoring event.
  6. 6. Package samples with chain-of-custody paperwork and ship/deliver to the accredited lab within the required hold time for SOC (dry combustion) analysis.
  7. 7. Enter stratum ID, GPS, depth, replicate count, photos, and chain-of-custody number into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

  • Sampling point matched to the registered carbon-stratum ID, GPS inside the posting radius
  • Photo of the sampling location + surrounding management context (tillage, cover crop, residue, grazing)
  • Paired composite SOC core + bulk-density core collected at every required depth increment
  • Management-practice metadata logged since the last monitoring event
  • Chain-of-custody to the accredited lab completed within hold time

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1783718256860_6un7lpv","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
