What the work involves

East Porterville water system is due for its periodic third-party verification, but its multi-round visit record, flagged-deficiency log, and service-population count need to be assembled into one file a verifier can actually audit.

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
assembled verification file: every round's visit record and flagged-deficiency history, indexed and complete: Real, Proven, One-of-one

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • GPS-capable phone or survey-grade GPS
  • camera
  • free-chlorine residual test strips or turbidity tube
  • stopwatch (flow-rate test)
  • field checklist/tablet
  • maintenance logbook
  • PPE (gloves)

Steps

  1. 1. Navigate to the registered water point (handpump, tap stand, filtration unit, tank) and confirm GPS matches the project's registered asset ID.
  2. 2. Photograph the water point and confirm it is operational by test-pumping or test-flowing the point.
  3. 3. Verify basic water-quality indicators available on-site (free-chlorine residual test strip or turbidity tube where the project specifies point-of-use treatment) and record the reading.
  4. 4. Observe the responsible user/caretaker's safe-water-chain practices (covered storage, clean collection vessel, handwashing station presence/function).
  5. 5. Check the asset's maintenance record/logbook for the period since the last visit; note any repairs or downtime.
  6. 6. Count or estimate the households/population currently served per the project's registered service area.
  7. 7. Complete the WASH functionality + safe-use checklist per the project's monitoring plan.
  8. 8. Enter asset ID, GPS, photos, test readings, checklist, and any flagged deficiency into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

  • Every monitoring round's field sheets, GPS waypoints, and photos indexed by connection and date
  • Complete flagged-deficiency log across the monitoring period, cross-checked against field notes
  • Service-population count reconciled against the registered service area across the monitoring period
  • File assembled in the format the verification body specifies, ready for audit

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1783719319287_9vqv8ye","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
