Central Valley almond cropland, Chowchilla CA

Prepare the Central Valley almond cropland soil-carbon file for third-party verification.

All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Prepare the Central Valley almond cropland soil-carbon file for third-party verification. Central Valley almond cropland, Chowchilla CA's soil-carbon project is due for its periodic third-party verification, but its multi-year sampling record, lab chain-of-custody, and management-history log need to be assembled into one file a verifier can actually audit. The project's records are unassembled: no single file ties its sampling rounds, lab trail and management history together.

Fund it for $580. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

Pay
$580 proposed

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Safety, read before you claim

No licence is asked for; field sampling only, to the approved coring protocol, changing no management practice and disturbing no soil beyond it. Flag any land-use change or grazing anomaly inconsistent with the registered project boundary to the project proponent, never adjusting it on-site.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • GPS-capable phone or survey-grade GPS
  • soil corer/auger with depth markings for each required increment (e.g. 0-30cm, 30-60cm)
  • bulk-density core sampler (known-volume rings)
  • sample bags + waterproof labels
  • cooler for same-day lab transport
  • field data sheet / project carbon-stratum map
  • camera

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm the sampling point against the project's registered carbon-stratum map and GPS coordinates; record the stratum ID.
  2. 2. Photograph the sampling location and surrounding management context (tillage pass, cover crop, residue, grazing evidence).
  3. 3. Extract paired composite soil cores at each required depth increment per the stratum's minimum sample count in the Sampling and Monitoring Plan.
  4. 4. Collect an intact bulk-density core at each depth increment using a known-volume ring; label with stratum, depth, and replicate number.
  5. 5. Log management-practice metadata (tillage, cover-crop presence, residue retention, amendments, grazing rotation) for the stratum since the last monitoring event.
  6. 6. Package samples with chain-of-custody paperwork and ship/deliver to the accredited lab within the required hold time for SOC (dry combustion) analysis.
  7. 7. Enter stratum ID, GPS, depth, replicate count, photos, and chain-of-custody number into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

  • Every monitoring round's field sheets, GPS waypoints, and photos indexed by stratum and date
  • Complete chain-of-custody trail from every round to the accredited lab's SOC/bulk-density results
  • Management-history log spanning the full monitoring period, cross-checked against field notes
  • Any flagged anomaly (land-use change, disturbed core) documented with its resolution
  • File assembled in the format the verification body specifies, ready for audit

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1783723104115_q30b5cs","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
