Steps

1. Photograph the site BEFORE with GPS on and a legible timestamp; confirm you are inside the posting radius.
2. 2. Measure path width at the narrowest point; record it.
3. 3. Measure running slope and cross slope with a level app; record both.
4. 4. Check surface for trip hazards over 13mm and record locations.
5. 5. Document seating, shade, and lighting presence with counts.
6. 6. Photograph each deficiency next to the tape or level so the number is visible.
7. Photograph AFTER from the same position as the before shot.

If it does not match the plan

• Path narrower than 915mm (36in) -> record as failing accessible width, do not round up.
• Running slope over 5% without handrails, or cross slope over 2% -> record as failing.
• Active hazard to the public (open drain, live wire) -> report immediately, do not merely document.
• Measurement cannot be taken safely -> record why rather than estimating.
