Steps

- 4. Label the bottle BEFORE filling: site, date, time.
- 5. Fill without touching the bottle interior; cap immediately.
- 6. Run each test per kit instructions, waiting the exact development time.
- 7. Record every reading with its unit and the water temperature.
- 8. Record all results, GPS, and time into the proof record and sign it.
If it does not match the plan
- Reading exceeds the named health threshold -> tag the exceedance and advise certified-lab confirmation; do not tell anyone the water is safe.
- Kit is past its expiry -> results are not evidence; stop.
- Development time missed -> rerun that test; a late read is not a result.
- Source is visibly contaminated or inaccessible -> document and do not sample.

- Before and after photos from the same position, GPS inside the posting radius, timestamps legible
- Bottle labelled before filling, visible in a photo
- Every reading recorded with its unit
- Water temperature recorded
- Kit expiry confirmed in date
- Exceedances tagged with a lab-confirmation recommendation
