Count and map the shade trees on one South Phoenix block

South Phoenix was redlined for decades and today has far less tree shade than north Phoenix neighborhoods, while summer afternoons run several degrees hotter. Maricopa County records hundreds of heat deaths a year, and the hottest blocks are the ones with the fewest trees. Before anyone plants, someone has to walk a block and record what shade actually exists and where the empty planting spots are. Standard: City of Phoenix Tree and Shade Master Plan (25% canopy goal); SDG 11 Sustainable Cities. Proof: Corner photos + tally sheet + GPS block location Method (City of Phoenix Tree and Shade Master Plan (25% canopy goal); SDG 11 Sustainable Cities.): 1. Pick one residential block near Broadway Road and 16th Street and walk both sides on the public sidewalk. 2. Count every living street tree, every dead or empty tree well, and every bare parkway strip that could hold a tree. 3. Note which corners and bus stops have zero shade at midday. 4. Mark each finding on a simple block sketch or phone map pin. 5. Photograph the block from each corner and record the counts with date and GPS. Done when: Corner photos + tally sheet + GPS block location

Pay
$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
