Rebuild a broken stoop step on an invited Sandtown rowhouse

Past patching, a sheared Sandtown step is a daily hazard at the one door a family uses. Forming and pouring a replacement step to match the original keeps an elder safe and an occupied house on the right side of the vacancy line. Standard: Residential concrete step rebuild practice per ACI guidance; SDG 11. Proof: Stage photos from demolition to finished step Method (Residential concrete step rebuild practice per ACI guidance; SDG 11.): 1. Confirm the host invitation and remove broken material to sound base. 2. Set and brace forms to the original dimensions. 3. Place and rod concrete, finishing with a broom texture. 4. Cure under plastic; keep the step taped off per the mix schedule. 5. Photograph each stage through the finished step with GPS and date. Done when: Stage photos from demolition to finished step

$95 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 90–180 minutes. Method of record: Rebuild of a broken, spalled or unlevel rowhouse stoop step/tread to a safe, level rise — intermediate concrete/masonry repair, ground-level

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: measure the failed step's rise/run against the adjacent steps and the sidewalk grade; photograph the failure; confirm no utility lines run through the work area.
  2. 2. Remove the broken/spalled material down to sound substrate; form the new step edge to match the original rise/run.
  3. 3. Place and finish the new concrete/mortar to a level, non-slip surface, matching the adjacent step heights within a safe tolerance.
  4. 4. Cure per spec (barricade the stoop from use during cure) and verify the finished step's rise/run and level with a level and tape measure.
  5. 5. Photograph the finished, cured step from the same before vantage and remove the barricade only once fully cured.

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
