Manshiyat Naser is Cairo's main informal recycling hub — about 100,000 residents sort roughly 14,000 tons of the city's household waste a day into some of the highest recycling rates in the world. Loose street litter and overflow between collection rounds still piles up on stairs and alley corners the daily sort doesn't reach yet, and there's no simple public log of where it's worst. Photograph each litter or overflow point you pass, including a wide shot for context. 3. Note the approximate size (a bag, a cart-load, a pile) at each point. 4. Mark each point's location and time in the log. 5. Submit the log as a simple hotspot map for the block. Done when: GPS-pinned photo log of each hotspot plus the written map.
