Run the weekly watering round for Springfield's young corridor trees (2026-07-18)

Springfield's gateway-city plantings only become canopy if their first two summers are watered, and the corridor blocks that need trees most have the fewest hose bibs and garden habits to lean on. The paid weekly round is the establishment insurance the campaign runs on. Standard: MA DCR young tree establishment care; SDG 11 + SDG 13. Proof: Sample photos plus the full route log Method (MA DCR young tree establishment care; SDG 11 + SDG 13.): 1. Collect the watering route from the host program. 2. Water each young tree 15 to 20 gallons slowly into the ring or bag. 3. Weed the pit and correct mulch piled on the flare. 4. Log every tree and flag dead or damaged ones. 5. Photograph a sample of watered trees with GPS and date and submit the log. Done when: Sample photos plus the full route log

Pay
$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 30–60 minutes. Method of record: i-Tree canopy / street-tree inventory

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the corridor; record a GPS waypoint at each tree.
  2. 2. Photograph each surveyed tree.
  3. 3. Record species (best estimate), condition class (good/fair/poor/dead), and DBH (diameter at breast height).

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
