Hang a shade sail over a South Tucson gathering plaza

South Tucson's plazas and gathering spots along the S 6th Avenue corridor bake unusable from May to September. A properly tensioned shade sail over a host site's seating area returns a public place to the neighborhood for the half of the year it's currently abandoned to the sun. Standard: CPTED and municipal shade-structure practice; SDG 11. Proof: Before/after photos + midday shade photo Method (CPTED and municipal shade-structure practice; SDG 11.): 1. Agree sail placement and anchor points with the host site manager. 2. Install ground-anchored posts or confirm existing solid anchor points at or below 8 feet working height. 3. Attach the UV-rated sail with turnbuckles at each corner and tension evenly, all work from the ground. 4. Check clearance, tension, and hardware tightness. 5. Photograph the finished sail casting midday shade with date and GPS. Done when: Before/after photos + midday shade photo

Pay
$380 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
Before/after photos + midday shade photo

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 30–60 minutes. Method of record: Community-coordination hazard survey (documentation + coordination only; severity-tagged)

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the corridor from a safe path; record a GPS waypoint at each hazard.
  2. 2. Photograph each hazard.
  3. 3. Classify the hazard type and assign a severity tag (minor|moderate|severe|critical).
  4. 4. Name the responsible handoff target (BID / city agency / utility).
  5. 5. Enter each hazard's type, severity, GPS, photo, and handoff target into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
