Clear the bulk debris out of north Wichita's alleys and haul it legally (2026-07-19)

North Wichita's alleys catch couches, tires, and construction offcuts faster than the city's bulk pickup cycles, and every standing pile invites the next. A monthly clearing run — safe categories only, hauled to legal disposal — resets the alleys block by block. Standard: City of Wichita bulky waste rules + SDG 11.6 (municipal waste management). Proof: before/after alley photos plus the disposal receipt Method (City of Wichita bulky waste rules + SDG 11.6 (municipal waste management).): 1. Walk the assigned alleys and list the piles, taking only safe categories: furniture, bagged trash, yard debris, tires. 2. Load with gloves and a helper, covering the load. 3. Deliver to the legal disposal site and keep the receipt. 4. Leave each alley segment broom-clean. 5. Photograph each site before and after plus the receipt, GPS-tagged and dated. Done when: before/after alley photos plus the disposal receipt

Pay
$220 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 45–90 minutes. Method of record: Manual removal and licit disposal of illegally dumped bulk trash and debris from a public alley or rear right-of-way

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: photograph the alley's debris as found (type, extent, any hazardous-looking items) and confirm the alley is public right-of-way, not a private yard needing separate consent.
  2. 2. Set aside and separately flag (do not move) any item that looks hazardous (containers with unknown liquid, sharps, anything resembling a fuel/chemical container) and report it rather than handling it.
  3. 3. Sort and remove the remaining bulk trash/debris by hand, bagging loose material and staging bulky items for the city's bulk-pickup program or a licensed hauler.
  4. 4. Photograph the cleared alley from the same before vantage and log the city bulk-pickup or 311 reference used for anything left for scheduled pickup.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
