Safety, read before you claim
Document only -- observe and photograph from the accessible bank, standing on dry ground, at a safe distance from the water's edge. Do not enter the river, do not wade, do not disturb any spawning gravel. Never work alone on an unstable bank; stay well back from undercut edges.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Record the date and time and describe the water clarity and flow you can see from the bank.
- Walk the accessible bank of the reach the title names on dry ground, staying back from the water's edge.
- Scan the water from the bank for a redd, a cleared spawning-gravel depression, and for spawning fish.
- Photograph any redd or spawning fish you see from the bank and record a GPS waypoint at each observation point.
- Look up at the canopy along the bank and note each bank segment where there is a gap in the tree cover.
- Rank the canopy-gap segments from largest to smallest as a note for the follow-on shade-gap survey.
- Enter the photos, GPS waypoints, date and time, water clarity and flow notes, and the ranked note in the proof record.
What counts as done
- Photos of any observed redd (cleared spawning-gravel depression) or spawning fish taken from the bank, no entry into the water
- GPS waypoint at each observation point along the accessible bank
- Date/time and approximate water clarity/flow noted
- Ranked note flagging any bank segment with a canopy gap for the follow-on shade-gap survey
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
