Restore a San Felipe Springs spring run bank at San Felipe Natural Spring Park, site 3, San Felipe Natural Spring Park, 401 Mario Salas Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840 (public city park) (2026-07-29)

The survey above found a bare, eroding, or litter strewn bank along this San Felipe Springs spring run, and hand cleared, hand planted native cover would otherwise protect the water quality of Del Rio's own drinking water source. Standard: Gold Standard Water Benefit Standard source protection zone monitoring practice, applied here to San Felipe Springs, one of the largest artesian springs in Texas and the municipal drinking water source for Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas. SDG 6.1 and 6.6. Proof: before after photos plus litter volume record plus species and count record plus GPS Method (Gold Standard Water Benefit Standard source protection zone monitoring practice, applied here to San Felipe Springs, one of the largest artesian springs in Texas and the municipal drinking water source for Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas. SDG 6.1 and 6.6.): 1. 1. Confirm the bank segment with City of Del Rio parks staff and photograph the bare, eroding, or litter strewn dry bank before starting. 2. 2. Hand remove litter and hand clear invasive plants from the dry bank margin with hand tools only, no power equipment, staying above the waterline. 3. 3. Hand plant native riparian grasses and forbs at the design spacing along the cleared margin. 4. 4. Photograph the restored margin from the matching before vantage and record species and count. Done when: before after photos plus litter volume record plus species and count record plus GPS

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 45–90 minutes. Method of record: Gold Standard Water Benefit Standard (WBS) — source-water protection zone condition walk (catchment/spring/recharge-area buffer inspection) feeding the project's Water Benefit Certificate (WBC) monitoring requirements.

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. Navigate to the registered source-protection zone boundary (spring box, recharge basin, wellhead, catchment intake); confirm GPS matches the project's registered site ID.
  2. 2. Photograph the source point and the immediate protective perimeter (fencing/buffer condition, vegetation cover, any encroachment).
  3. 3. Walk the protection-zone buffer checking for contamination-risk indicators (livestock access, latrine proximity, agrochemical storage/use, solid-waste dumping, open defecation) and log each with a GPS waypoint and photo.
  4. 4. Inspect the physical source infrastructure (spring box lid/seal, wellhead cap, intake screen, diversion structure) for damage or breach.
  5. 5. Record any encroachment (new structures, cultivation, grazing) inside the registered buffer since the last visit.
  6. 6. Note upstream/uphill land-use changes visible from the protection zone that could affect source-water quality.
  7. 7. Complete the source-protection condition checklist per the project's WBS monitoring plan.
  8. 8. Enter site ID, GPS, photos, checklist, and any flagged risk into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
