This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

Safety, read before you claim

No special training is needed; use hand tools only. Never pick before photographing the bed, and never pick produce that is not ripe.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Contact the host of the community garden and confirm the exact site name, street address and the contact who agreed to the work. Write these into the site record.
  2. Arrive at the bed the title names and photograph the ready-to-harvest bed before you pick anything.
  3. Set out clean containers for the produce.
  4. Pick the ripe produce by hand or with hand tools and place it in the containers.
  5. Photograph the harvested produce laid out after the harvest.
  6. Weigh or count what you harvested and write down where it is going (cafeteria, food bank or families) for the weekly community meal.
  7. Deliver the produce to that destination.
  8. Enter the before photo, the after photo, the weight or count with its destination, and the site record into the proof record.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the ready-to-harvest bed
  • After photo of the harvested produce
  • Weight/count harvested and its destination (cafeteria/food bank/families)
  • Site record: the exact site's name and street address, and the contact who agreed to the work

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Edible Garden Cultivation. Edible garden cultivation is food growing done to the standards the land-grant universities have refined for a century: healthy soil in tested beds, the right crop in the right season, hand tools, patience, and records. Mastery looks like a Master Gardener's plot, beds that feed a family most of the year from a piece of ground the size of a parking space. Every gardener who reaches that point started with a single bed and a single season. This packet is that start: one bed built or tended properly, one honest note about what happened.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage, plus one Vealth service fee of 10% shown apart; the worker is paid the whole wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1785461422391_femn9oa","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
