This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Safety, read before you claim

No special training is needed. Work only on a school-invited job, scheduled with staff supervision, using food-safe harvest containers, and never pick unripe or unsound produce.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Before picking, ask the site contact to confirm the garden and the weekly meal it feeds, and write down their name, role and the date they agreed to the work.
  2. Wash your hands and set out clean food-safe harvest containers, with the staff member who is supervising nearby.
  3. Stand at the bed this job's title names and photograph it as it is, ripe crop in view.
  4. Pick by hand only what is ripe and sound, laying it gently in the containers and leaving unripe produce on the plant.
  5. Weigh or count the harvest crop by crop and write each weight or count in a log.
  6. Photograph the harvested produce together with the weight reading and the log.
  7. Carry the harvest straight to the cafeteria that prepares the weekly community meal and hand it to staff, then photograph the handoff.
  8. Write a short note on the next planting cycle for this bed, based on what you saw, then record your GPS and attach the photos, log, note and host confirmation to the proof.

What counts as done

  • Harvest photo with weight/count log
  • Cafeteria handoff photo
  • Note on the next planting cycle
  • Host confirmation: the site contact's name and role, and the date they agreed

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Edible Garden Cultivation. Edible garden cultivation is food growing done to the standards the land-grant universities have refined for a century: healthy soil in tested beds, the right crop in the right season, hand tools, patience, and records. Mastery looks like a Master Gardener's plot, beds that feed a family most of the year from a piece of ground the size of a parking space. Every gardener who reaches that point started with a single bed and a single season. This packet is that start: one bed built or tended properly, one honest note about what happened.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage, plus one Vealth service fee of 10% shown apart; the worker is paid the whole wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1785461566184_v88f1j1","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
