All of it: the words, the place, the proof

At 5,280 ft, this Washington St block sees hard freeze-thaw cycles that turn a clogged gutter and a blocked attic vent into an ice dam that backs meltwater under the shingles. Clearing the low-risk points before the first freeze is the doing that keeps the roof edge dry all winter.

Fund it for $200. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$200 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

gutter/attic-vent before/after photos + pre-freeze date log + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. From ground level, confirm the gutters and downspouts are clear (pair with the gutter-clean rung) and photograph the roof edge as found.
  2. From inside the attic hatch, check that soffit and ridge vents are unblocked by insulation or debris and photograph the vent line.
  3. Confirm the attic hatch itself is weatherstripped and insulated so warm house air isn't melting snow onto a cold roof edge from below.
  4. Photograph the finished attic-vent check and log the pre-freeze date; never climb onto the roof or chip ice: an already-formed ice dam is a licensed roofer's job, this rung is prevention only.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the roof edge and gutters as found
  • Photo of the attic vent line (soffit/ridge) confirmed unblocked
  • Attic-hatch weatherstrip/insulation confirmation photo

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Weatherization Readiness. Weatherization readiness is the survey that turns a cold, expensive-to-heat home into a fundable plan. Following the Department of Energy's program, the surveyor maps where the house leaks air, which attics and walls lack insulation, what fresh-air path must follow the tightening, and which safety checks must clear first. Mastery looks like a walkthrough that ends with a package a weatherization crew can price without a second visit. This packet is one piece of one such survey, done carefully and written down, so a real family's real house gets closer to warm.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1785461814425_2vyuffl","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
