Keep the fenceline air diary for the Iron Triangle (2026-08-03)
Keep the fenceline air diary for the Iron Triangle (2026-08-03). Fund it for $160. Proof lands on-chain when it's done.
Richmond's Iron Triangle lives downwind of heavy industry, and community air complaints go furthest when they arrive as a consistent dated record: what was visible, what was smellable, from where, when. A fixed-vantage weekly diary from public sidewalks is that record. Standard: BAAQMD complaint + community monitoring framework; AB 617 community air protection. SDG 3/11. Proof: fixed-vantage dated photos + diary + any complaint confirmations Method (BAAQMD complaint + community monitoring framework; AB 617 community air protection. SDG 3/11.): 1. From 2–3 fixed public-sidewalk vantages, photograph the skyline/flare stacks with timestamps. 2. Log anything visible (smoke, flare, haze) and any distinct odor, with wind direction. 3. File anything significant to the district's complaint line; screenshot confirmations. 4. Submit the dated diary weekly. Done when: Timestamped vantage photos; Observation diary with wind notes; Complaint confirmations when filed
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 45–90 minutes. Method of record: EPA NAAQS community ambient-air screening (PM2.5)
Bring
- calibrated PM2.5 monitor
- GPS phone
- wind/weather note source
- hi-vis vest
- camera
Steps
- 1. Choose >=3 points (near-source/roadside, mid, background); record GPS at each; stay off the roadway.
- 2. Photograph each monitoring location.
- 3. Log PM2.5 (ug/m3) at each point over a comparable peak period.
- 4. Record wind direction, time, and nearby source activity (e.g., truck traffic).
- 5. Compare readings to the NAAQS reference.
- 6. Enter the PM2.5 logs, wind/time, source note, GPS, photos into the proof record; sign.
If it does not match the plan
- Roadside work near heavy traffic -> stay off travel lanes; hi-vis at all times.
- Near-source PM2.5 well above background and NAAQS -> flag an environmental-justice exposure concern.
What counts as done
- Timestamped vantage photos
- Observation diary with wind notes
- Complaint confirmations when filed
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1785715275096_bd5fkr3","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
