How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- 1. From the public road right of way only, photograph the roadside margin bordering the refuge and nearby farmland, noting bare or lawn-only ground that could host a native buffer strip.
- 2. Using binoculars or zoom photography, note whether a wintering crane flock is feeding in a nearby field without approaching it. Never approach a sandhill crane roost or feeding flock at any skill level; never use calls, playback, or a drone; never use flash photography or move quickly toward roosting or feeding birds. All observation happens from the refuge's designated public overlook, the auto-tour route, or a public road only.
- 3. Note the approximate length of the bare or lawn-only roadside stretch.
- 4. Record a ranked follow on note naming the stretch for a native buffer-planting install. Sandhill crane wintering season on the Llano Estacado brings extreme cold and high wind with no windbreak on this open, treeless plains landscape; dress in layers, protect exposed skin, watch for signs of cold exposure, and limit time outdoors accordingly.
What counts as done
- Photo of the roadside margin taken from the public road right of way
- Note of bare or lawn-only stretch length available for a buffer planting
- Confirmation the entire survey or work stayed on the refuge's designated public overlook, the auto-tour route, or a public road; that no playa lake bed was walked onto; that no crane roost or feeding flock was approached, called to, played back to, droned, or flash-photographed; and that no water or sediment sample was collected from a saline playa lake.
- Ranked follow on note naming the stretch for a native buffer-planting install
- GPS waypoint of the surveyed stretch
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1785925166079_bfhcyss","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
