- 3. This documents within-stand edge structure of a single patch mosaic, never linking or connecting distant habitat patches to one another.
- 4. Record a ranked follow on note naming the hard edge segment for a licensed feathering crew. Check Chaparral WMA's current permit-based seasonal public access rules and active hunt schedule before visiting (general public use runs April 1 through August 31; outside that window the area operates on permit-based hunt access only), register at WMA Headquarters/Check Station or the Camping Area Kiosk as required, and wear blaze orange during an active hunting season.
