All of it: the words, the place, the proof

A trail-tread erosion channel near the Honey Creek guided-tour trailhead has not had a recent stand off record; unchecked, it carries sediment toward the karst spring-to-creek transition that Honey Creek's travertine-and-moss community depends on.

Offer to pay $80. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

What it looks like
A worker on the public trail at Honey Creek State Natural Area guided-tour trailhead at the historic Rust House measures an eroded channel in the trail tread with a tape measure, then photographs the bare rutted soil.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). Safety, read before you claim

This work happens only during a scheduled Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek guided walk (registration required, no pets); Honey Creek State Natural Area is never entered outside a scheduled public guided tour, at any skill level. This work never enters the creek or spring, never wades or steps into the water, never walks the creek bed, and never touches or disturbs the travertine formations or moss at any skill level. No plant, animal, mineral, or water sample is ever collected from the creek, spring, travertine, or river at any skill level; this is never a water-quality testing job. The Guadalupe River is open water with slick limestone, sudden drop-offs, and flash-flood risk; any river-adjacent work is bank-top only and never enters the river or wades any distance from the bank; check the current weather and any flash-flood watch or warning before starting, and leave the area immediately if the water begins to rise. Venomous snakes (including cottonmouths near the water's edge), fire ants, and poison ivy are present along the creek and river corridor; watch foot and hand placement around rock, brush, and leaf litter at all times, and give any snake a wide path rather than approaching it. Limestone trail surfaces near the spring and river can be steep, uneven, and slick when wet; wear sturdy closed-toe hiking shoes with good tread and use trail handholds on steep sections, never rushing a wet or uneven step. Texas Hill Country summer heat is severe with limited shade along the trail; work only in early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat, carry more water than you think you need, wear a hat and sun protection, and tell someone your planned route and return time before starting.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. From the guided tour route or the park's public trail only, photograph a trail-tread erosion channel or bare rutted stretch that could carry sediment toward the karst spring-to-creek transition. This work never enters the creek or spring, never wades or steps into the water, never walks the creek bed, and never touches or disturbs the travertine formations or moss at any skill level.
  2. 2. Measure the channel's approximate depth and length using a tape measure held from a stable stance.
  3. 3. Note whether the eroded stretch drains toward the spring or creek, since this is the sediment pathway that matters for the transition's water quality.
  4. 4. Record a ranked follow on note naming the stretch for an erosion-control crew working on the park's trail system.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the eroded trail stretch taken from the guided tour route or the park's public trail
  • Channel depth and length measurement recorded
  • Confirmation that this job never entered Honey Creek State Natural Area outside a scheduled public guided tour; that it never entered the creek or spring, never touched or disturbed travertine or moss, and never collected any plant, animal, mineral, or water sample from the creek, spring, or river; that any river-adjacent work stayed bank-top only with the current weather and flash-flood forecast checked before starting; and that sturdy footwear, sun protection, and adequate water were carried given Hill Country heat and steep limestone footing.
  • Ranked follow on note naming the stretch for an erosion-control crew
  • GPS waypoint of the surveyed stretch

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Green Stormwater Infrastructure. Green stormwater infrastructure is the city's way of handling rain the way a meadow does: rain gardens, planted swales, and permeable pavement that let a storm soak in instead of surging down a pipe. The EPA's inspection standard keeps these systems honest, because a neglected rain garden quietly stops working while still looking like a garden. Mastery is the inspector's eye: reading inlets, overflow, plants, and soil in a single practiced pass. This packet is one such inspection, one basin checked and one record filed, which is precisely how a thousand basins stay alive.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
