This work never enters the resaca or any pool, seep, or standing water at any skill level, never wades, never swims, and never launches or uses a boat; resacas are open water with soft, undercut banks that can give way without warning. All work stays bank-top, on the maintained park path, sidewalk, or designated interior trail, and never approaches the water's edge to work.
- 2. Note any bare, eroded, or trampled bank stretch and its approximate length along the shoreline.
- 3. This documents the resaca's bank-top shoreline condition specifically, a relict natural river channel, not a constructed canal or ditch; state the stretch's location relative to a park landmark in the record.
- 4. Record a ranked follow on note naming the stretch for a native-planting crew working on bank-top ground only.
