Steps
- 1. Confirm post-event conditions are safe; navigate to the site; record GPS.
- 2. Photograph deposited sediment / affected area.
- 3. Measure deposition depth at representative points.
- 4. If a sediment contaminant screen is in scope, run the metals field kit and record values.
- 5. Note debris, hazards, and the extent (sketch).
- 6. Enter depth, any analytes, hazard notes, GPS, photos into the proof record; sign.
If it does not match the plan
- Unstable ground / submerged debris / contaminated water -> document from safe footing; do not enter.
- Elevated metals in deposited sediment -> flag before any reuse; recommend lab confirm.

- Photo of the exposed shoreline band taken from bank-top ground above the waterline
- Exposure band width and litter type noted
- Confirmation that this job never entered the resaca or any pool or standing water, never waded, swam, or launched a boat, and stayed bank-top on the maintained park path, sidewalk, or designated interior trail at all times; that no water sample was collected and no plant was collected or its precise location published, and no bird nest, roost, or rookery location was recorded or published; that this work never crossed a levee toward the river, never approached the border barrier, and never entered a refuge area closed to the public; and that mosquito repellent, sun protection, and adequate wat
