All of it: the words, the place, the proof

The survey above found litter or fouling risk on the trail apron and boulder tops around a hueco basin at the public day use area near the interpretive center; hand collection and pack out from the trail keeps litter from ever reaching the only standing water for miles.

Offer to pay $95. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

What it looks like
A worker in gloves, standing on the established trail at Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site, hand collects litter from the trail apron by a hueco basin and bags it, staying back from the rim.

A description of this kind of work, not a record that it happened here.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Safety, read before you claim

Hand collection only, gloves required for handling litter, never reaching into or touching the basin, its rim, or its water or sediment at any point, staying on the established trail or stable adjacent flat ground. This work never enters, wades in, dips a hand, tool, or any gear into, drinks from, or otherwise disturbs the water or sediment of a hueco basin at any skill level, and never enters any other pool or standing water on site. A hueco's dry season sediment holds dormant eggs of specialized crustaceans that survive years of drought in the dust of the basin floor; a boot print or hand print in a dry basin is real, lasting damage even when the basin looks empty and lifeless. All observation happens from the established trail, at a stand off distance from the basin rim. No water sample is ever collected from a hueco basin, or from any other water on site, at any skill level. This work never climbs, boulders, or scrambles on the syenite boulders, and never leaves the maintained trail, at any skill level. Hueco Tanks is a world famous bouldering destination, and that same climbing and hiking pressure on the rock and the ground around it is exactly what this work documents and addresses, never the method used to do it. Access to Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site is permit controlled with a daily visitor cap and a mandatory orientation; reserve access in advance (day use entry plus the required TPWD self guided permit for the North Mountain area, capped at a limited number of people per day) and follow park staff direction at check in and on site at all times. Guided tour only areas of the park are off limits to this work; this work is confined to the public day use area, the interpretive center vicinity, and the maintained self guided North Mountain trail. This work never mentions, locates, describes, photographs, cleans, monitors, or documents any cultural or archaeological feature at this site, at any skill level. If a photograph required by this work could include a marked rock surface, frame the photograph away from that surface. No organism living in or around a hueco basin or anywhere on site, and no plant of any kind, is ever handled or collected at any skill level. No precise coordinate or description that would allow someone to find one specific, individual hueco basin is ever recorded or published by this work; it documents and addresses trail and basin adjacent conditions in the general vicinity of the public day use area and the self guided North Mountain trail, never a named individual basin, nest, den, or roost. Rattlesnakes and Africanized honey bees are present in this landscape; bees congregate at hueco basins because they are the only standing water for miles, which is one more reason to keep a stand off distance from any basin. Watch foot and hand placement around boulders, crevices, and rock piles at all times, and give any snake or bee activity a wide path rather than approaching it. Chihuahuan Desert heat is severe with little to no shade among the boulders and open rock, no water available anywhere on site, and unreliable cell coverage in much of the park; work only in early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat, carry more water than you think you need, wear sun protection and light colored breathable clothing, tell someone your planned route and return time before you start, and take frequent shade breaks in the lee of a boulder.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Photograph the litter found on the trail apron or boulder tops around a basin before starting, from the trail.
  2. 2. Confirm with park staff at check in that the removal area is within the approved public day use area or the permitted North Mountain trail.
  3. 3. Hand collect and bag litter found on the trail apron and boulder tops, never reaching into or touching the basin, its rim, or its water or sediment at any point, staying on the established trail or stable adjacent flat ground.
  4. 4. Pack out the bagged litter to the park's designated receptacle and photograph the cleared trail apron.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the litter on the trail apron or boulder tops
  • Park staff check in and approved area confirmed
  • Confirmation that this job never entered, waded in, dipped anything into, drank from, or otherwise disturbed the water or sediment of any hueco basin or other water on site, and stayed on the established trail at a stand off distance from any basin rim at all times; that no water sample was collected; that this work never climbed, bouldered, or scrambled on the boulders and never left the maintained trail; that no cultural or archaeological feature was mentioned, located, described, or photographed; that no organism or plant was handled or collected; that no precise location of an individual hueco basin, nest, den, or roost was recorded or published; and that reserved access, the required park permit, and park staff direction were followed, given Hueco Tanks' permit controlled daily visitor cap and Chihuahuan Desert heat, no on site water, and limited cell coverage.
  • Litter type and volume removed recorded
  • After photo of the cleared trail apron

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required. Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
