All of it: the words, the place, the proof

An arroyo culvert crossing under US 90 near the community of Dryden, Terrell County, is blocked with brush and sediment debris, risking a washout or road overtopping the next time rain falls upstream, out of sight, under a clear sky at the crossing.

Offer to pay $130. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Safety, read before you claim

Hand tools only, never enter the culvert structure or standing water in the arroyo, hi-vis required near the US 90 highway shoulder. This is among the most remote places authored in this library: Sanderson is the only town of any size in a county of roughly 800 people spread across an area larger than Delaware, cell phone coverage is absent over most of the county, and the nearest hospital is far away. Tell someone your planned route and return time before you start, carry more water than you think you need, and do not work alone in the backcountry. Chihuahuan Desert heat in Terrell County is severe with little to no shade over open desert and canyon rim terrain; work only in early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat, carry more water than you think you need, wear sun protection and light colored breathable clothing, and take frequent shade breaks wherever any shade is available. Rain falling out of sight upstream, under a clear sky at the work site, can send a flash flood down an arroyo, wash, or roadside ditch with little or no warning; check the current weather forecast and any flash flood watch or warning for the whole area before starting, and leave low ground immediately for higher ground if the water begins to rise or the sound of water changes.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. From the road shoulder, photograph the arroyo culvert crossing under the highway and note any debris blocking the culvert opening.
  2. 2. Using hand tools, clear debris from the culvert inlet and outlet, never entering the culvert itself or standing water in the arroyo.
  3. 3. Photograph the cleared culvert opening and confirm water can pass freely.
  4. 4. Record the debris type and volume removed.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the blocked culvert opening
  • Debris type and approximate volume removed recorded
  • After photo of the cleared culvert with visible flow path

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
