All of it: the words, the place, the proof

A muddy wallow depression, a spot hogs have wetted down and repeatedly lain in, sits within view of a park trail or bottomland flat near a public dry-ground vantage of a feral hog wallow near a park trail or bottomland flat at Fort Parker State Park, site 1 at Fort Parker State Park, and no photo record exists of its condition or of where its runoff carries sediment toward the lake or a wetland margin.

Offer to pay $85. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

What it looks like
At Fort Parker State Park (Texas Parks and Wildlife Department), a worker on dry ground at a stand-off aims a camera at a muddy wallow depression and the runoff path leading away toward the water.

A description of this kind of work, not a record that it happened here.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Safety, read before you claim

This work never traps, snares, baits, shoots, hunts, or uses dogs against any hog, never builds or maintains any capture-designed fence, performs no aerial work, and applies no toxicant at any skill level; feral hog control involves firearms and animal killing and is not this library's to teach. No hog, live or dead, is ever touched, approached, followed, cornered, or photographed at close range, and no carcass is ever touched; feral hogs carry brucellosis and pseudorabies, both transmissible to people and to dogs, which is why this work never makes physical or close-range contact with an animal or its remains. If a hog is seen or heard nearby, the work stops immediately and the person leaves the area; feral hogs are large, fast, and dangerous, and a sow with piglets will charge, so this is a plain instruction at every skill level, not advice. Wallow water and mud are contaminated ground; no def wades into a wallow, touches its water or mud by hand, or collects a water sample at any skill level, and all wallow documentation happens from dry ground at a stand-off. No precise coordinate of a wallow or a rooting concentration is ever recorded or published by this work; concentrated hog sign indicates where the animals reliably return, the same disturbance and safety risk that keeps nest, den, roost, and karst-opening locations out of this library, so this work states only the general park or trail vantage it was observed or worked from. Ground-repair work is hand tools, boots on firm ground, and gloves; wash hands before eating or drinking and again after any contact with disturbed soil. No organism is handled or collected, no wild seed is ever collected (a separate rung of this library's work owns that lane), no plant is removed from the site, and no listed species is approached; any reseeding in this batch uses a small quantity of store bought native or turf grass seed on the single repaired patch itself, and is never authored as a broader prairie restoration planting. Limestone County is largely private ranchland outside Fort Parker State Park; this work is confined to the park's public grounds and trails, the public road right of way, public building grounds, or a resident's own home with the resident's consent, and never enters or approaches private property without an owner's direct permission, which this work does not have. Rattlesnakes, fire ants, ticks, and chiggers are present in this landscape; watch foot and hand placement around rock, brush, and low vegetation, and give any snake a wide path. Thorny vegetation is common; wear gloves and eye protection. Groesbeck and Mexia are small Limestone County towns; cell phone coverage can be unreliable in the park's outer trail sections, so tell someone your planned route and return time before you start, carry more water than you think you need, and do not work alone in the park's backcountry. Texas summer heat on open park ground and public road shoulder terrain is severe with thin shade; this work is never scheduled at dawn or dusk, when feral hogs are most active, which overrides the usual beat-the-heat early or late timing, so this work happens mid morning instead, in the open, with good visibility of the surrounding ground, carrying more water than you think you need, wearing sun protection and light colored breathable clothing, and taking frequent shade breaks wherever any shade is available.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. From dry ground at a stand-off, confirm no hog is present nearby before approaching to photograph; if a hog is seen or heard, leave the area immediately.
  2. 2. Photograph the wallow depression and, separately, trace and photograph the visible runoff or sediment path leading away from it toward the nearest water, without wading in or touching the wallow's water or mud.
  3. 3. Note the wallow's approximate size and the runoff path's length, and whether it shows active sediment movement (a churned, muddy channel) versus a dry, stabilized track, distinguishing this from ordinary streambank erosion: a wallow's sediment source is the animal-disturbed depression itself, not a stream reach.
  4. 4. Record a ranked follow on note naming the site for a sediment-control crew, and state the observation point relative to the park landmark, never the wallow's own coordinate.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the wallow depression taken from dry ground at a stand-off
  • Photo and description of the visible runoff or sediment path toward water
  • Confirmation that this work never trapped, snared, baited, shot, hunted, or used dogs against any hog, built no capture-designed fence, performed no aerial work, and applied no toxicant; that no hog, live or dead, was touched, approached, followed, cornered, or photographed at close range and no carcass was touched; that if a hog was seen or heard nearby the work stopped and the person left the area; that this work was never scheduled at dawn or dusk; that no wallow water or mud was waded into, touched by hand, or sampled; that no precise coordinate of a wallow or rooting concentration was recorded or published; that no organism, wild seed, or plant was collected and no listed species was approached; and that the work stayed within Fort Parker State Park's public grounds, the public road right of way, public building grounds, or a consenting resident's own home and never crossed onto private ranch land.
  • Ranked follow on note naming the site for a sediment-control crew
  • GPS waypoint of the general public vantage only, never the wallow's precise location

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
