What the work involves

Fallen limbs already lying on the ground near the public bank access near the historic US 59 bridge over the Angelina River, Lufkin, Angelina County, TX 75901 near Lufkin, Angelina County, TX give small mammals, reptiles, and insects almost no cover once they are scattered thin across open ground; gathered by hand into a single loose pile set well above the flood line, the same limbs become real habitat structure instead of scattered litter.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 30–60 minutes. Method of record: EPA dry-weather / AMD field screening

Bring

  • GPS phone
  • pH meter or strips
  • conductivity meter
  • ammonia + iron test kit as specified
  • surfactant screen if specified
  • gloves
  • camera

Steps

  1. 1. Navigate to the outfall/reach; record GPS; photograph it, capturing any visible flow or staining.
  2. 2. Note whether flow is present in dry weather (yes/no).
  3. 3. Measure and record pH, conductivity, and each specified analyte per kit instructions.
  4. 4. Log any color, odor, floc, or aquatic-life observation.
  5. 5. Enter all readings with units, GPS, time, and photos into the proof record; sign.

If it does not match the plan

  • Dry-weather flow present with elevated conductivity/ammonia/surfactants -> flag suspected illicit discharge for the responsible agency.
  • pH < 6 with visible iron floc -> tag suspected acid mine drainage; recommend metals lab panel.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the bare build site
  • Confirmation the site sits above the flood line, on firm dry ground
  • After photo of the finished, loosely stacked pile with its approximate footprint recorded
  • Confirmation that this work never entered flowing water or waded into the channel, never used a chainsaw or power tool (except the licensed advanced placement crew), and never pried, dragged, cut, repositioned, or removed any log, branch, or root wad already in or touching the water; that the work stayed on the bridge deck, shoulder, or firm public bank ground well clear of the water line; that the water was checked and was not visibly high, fast, or muddy before starting; and that this survey/report/marker never argued against or contradicted the removal of wood that threatens a pier, culvert

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786342669047_3x1lsq0","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
