Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

This lot now has newly planted canopy over part of it and no evidence yet showing whether it actually cools the pavement and parked cars underneath, the exact evidence a facilities department needs before it funds canopy over the rest of the lot.

Proof
document-only photo of both thermometer readings + stand-off vantage confirmation + recorded temperature difference

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Stand on the landscaped island edge or the adjacent public sidewalk, never in a drive aisle or a marked stall, and aim a handheld infrared thermometer at a shaded parking-row surface at midday.
  2. 2. Record the shaded-surface reading, then repeat the same reading on a comparable sun-exposed row from the same stand-off vantage.
  3. 3. Photograph both readings on the thermometer display with the shaded and sun-exposed rows visible in the background.
  4. 4. Record the temperature difference and deliver the reading to the site owner’s facilities department as evidence for the canopy program.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the shaded-row thermometer reading taken from the sidewalk or landscaped island edge only
  • Photo of the sun-exposed-row thermometer reading taken from the same stand-off vantage
  • Recorded temperature difference between the two readings
  • Confirmation that both readings were taken from the same stand-off vantage on the same day
  • Delivery record showing the reading reached the site owner’s facilities department

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Urban Canopy. Urban canopy is the layer of leaves over a city, and it is infrastructure as surely as the pipes below the street: shade that cools a block in a heat wave, roots that drink a storm. The i-Tree protocol turns it into something you can count, tree by tree, so a city knows what it has and what it is losing. Mastery looks like a person who can read a whole street's trees at a walk. This packet is a piece of that census: a few trees observed carefully and recorded where the record counts.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786409389287_78ljayy","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
