Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

This household near Paris, TX has retired batteries and old devices scattered in drawers, junk bins, and sometimes the regular trash, where a loose battery terminal can touch metal or another battery and start a fire long before anyone means to recycle it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Set up one labeled, non-conductive storage container, a sealed plastic bin or a sand-lined metal container, kept away from heat, direct sun and anything flammable.
  2. 2. Tape the terminals of every intact, undamaged battery with electrical tape before it goes into the container, so the positive and negative ends cannot touch metal or each other.
  3. 3. Place only intact, unbroken, undamaged small devices and batteries into the container, never a crushed, punctured, swollen, hissing or hot one.
  4. 4. Photograph the labeled container, the taped-terminal batteries inside it, and its storage location away from heat, and confirm the household knows where it is.

What counts as done

  • Written or recorded permission from the resident
  • Photo of the labeled, non-conductive storage container
  • Photo of battery terminals taped before placement in the container
  • Confirmation that every battery and device placed in the container was intact and undamaged, with its case whole
  • Photo of the container's storage location, away from heat and direct sun

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786411035585_sgppi23","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
