- 3. Photograph the leaf-litter, downed-wood and small-stem brush buildup at fixed, GPS-marked points every roughly 200 feet along the stretch, always from the trail or road.
- 4. Record the stretch's start and end waypoints and deliver the photo record to district staff as ground-level input to their next prescribed-fire planning cycle.
