Keep the hose end up and coiled.

Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

A vacuum breaker on the tap protects the pipe, but the habit at the other end of the hose is what keeps a household from creating the exact backflow risk the fitting exists to stop: a hose end left lying in a bucket, a wading pool, a puddle, or dragged through standing water. Every time the hose is used, the end needs to come back up off the ground and out of anything it was filling, and the hose itself coiled clear of the ground rather than left snaking through a wet yard.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. After each use, lift the hose end out of whatever it was filling, a bucket, a pool, a planter, a pet bowl, before shutting the tap off.
  2. 2. Shut the water off at the tap, then bleed the remaining pressure out of the hose at the far end.
  3. 3. Coil the hose off the ground on its holder, reel, or hook, keeping the end above grade and clear of standing water.
  4. 4. Check that the tap's vacuum breaker, where one is fitted, is still attached and shows no cracking or damage, and photograph the coiled hose and the tap.

What counts as done

  • Written or recorded permission from the resident
  • Photo of the hose end lifted clear of any bucket, pool, or puddle before storage
  • Photo of the hose coiled off the ground on a holder, reel, or hook
  • Confirmation that the tap's vacuum breaker, where fitted, was checked and shows no cracking or damage

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Drinking Water Safety. Drinking water safety rests on hard numbers: the EPA and the World Health Organization publish exact limits for lead, bacteria, nitrates, and the rest, the line between water that is safe and water that only looks safe. Clear water can fail the test; slightly cloudy water can pass it. Only the test knows. Mastery means clean sampling habits, honest custody of every sample, and readings a stranger can trust. This packet is one correct sample or one careful reading, taken by the book. Every safe glass of water stands on somebody having done this properly.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786670341027_0bfr3ws","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
