intermediate work · a resident's own home near Mesquite Street, Jourdanton, TX 78026 (own-home, best-estimate location near the town center)
Retire the second refrigerator running.
Fund it for $40. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$40 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesA second, older refrigerator sits running around the clock in this uninsulated garage, working far harder in the summer heat than any unit inside the house ever has to, for a fraction of the food it actually holds.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- confirm with the resident whether the second unit's contents are still needed, then, with the resident, decide whether it can be retired outright or consolidated, moving any food that is still wanted into the household's primary refrigerator or freezer first.
- Unplug the second unit once it is empty, and, following the standard child-safety practice for a stored or discarded refrigerator, secure or remove the door so it cannot latch anyone inside while it awaits pickup.
- Contact the municipal solid-waste department or the local utility's appliance-recycling program to arrange scheduled collection, since a refrigerator's refrigerant and insulating foam are regulated and must be handled through that channel, never by removing the refrigerant or disabling the unit directly.
- Photograph the emptied, unplugged, door-secured unit staged for collection, and record the scheduled pickup confirmation from the municipal or utility program.
What counts as done
- Confirmation that all wanted food was moved into the primary unit before the second unit was unplugged
- Photo of the unplugged unit with its door secured or removed for child safety
- Confirmation that the refrigerant was never removed and the unit was never rendered inoperable by this rung
- Record of the scheduled pickup confirmation from the municipal solid-waste department or utility appliance-recycling program
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786672023129_7eg9r1l","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
