Anyone can start here · the break room at a City of Floresville public works or parks maintenance facility, near the city offices at 1120 D St, Floresville, TX 78114 (public works, best-estimate location near the confirmed city-offices address, exact maintenance-facility address not confirmed)

Clean and reseat the refrigerator door gasket so it seals again, the break room.

Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Crumbs, spills, and grime have built up in this refrigerator door's gasket channel and the rubber no longer seals evenly, so cold air leaks out every time the compressor cycles even with the door shut.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. confirm with City of Floresville public works staff whether the door gasket has ever been cleaned, then wipe the full gasket channel and the gasket's own folds clean with warm water and mild soap on a soft cloth, working around all four sides of the door.
  2. Dry the gasket and channel with a clean towel, then close the door on a dollar bill or a strip of paper at 6 to 8 points spaced evenly around the door's perimeter.
  3. At any point where the strip pulls free with little or no resistance, work the gasket back into its channel by hand and reseat it so it lies flat and even, then retest that same point with the strip until it holds resistance.
  4. Photograph the cleaned gasket and record which points held resistance on the first pass and which needed reseating, confirming every point holds by the end, and deliver the dated tag record to City of Floresville public works staff.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the gasket channel with visible grime or crumbs
  • After photo of the cleaned and reseated gasket
  • Per-point record of the paper-strip resistance test around the full door perimeter, first pass and final pass
  • Confirmation that every tested point held resistance by the end of the visit

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786672231562_wlq3u7y","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
