Anyone can start here · the break room at a City of Floresville public works or parks maintenance facility, near the city offices at 1120 D St, Floresville, TX 78114 (public works, best-estimate location near the confirmed city-offices address, exact maintenance-facility address not confirmed)
Set the refrigerator and freezer to their recommended temperatures, the break room.
Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$80 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesThis refrigerator and freezer are running colder than they need to, spending extra energy every hour of every day to hold temperatures well below what keeps food safe.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- confirm with City of Floresville public works staff whether the temperature dial or control has ever been checked, then locate it, commonly inside the fresh-food compartment or on a front panel, and photograph its current setting before touching it.
- Leave an appliance thermometer inside the fresh-food compartment and the freezer overnight beforehand, or read the unit's own digital display if it has one, to confirm the current running temperature.
- Adjust the fresh-food compartment to 37 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezer to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, turning the dial or control by hand to the nearest marked setting.
- Mark the new setting with a small sticker and today's date, and photograph the adjusted control as the record.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the dial or control at its original setting
- Thermometer reading confirming the temperature found before adjustment
- After photo of the control adjusted to 37 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit fresh food and 0 degrees Fahrenheit freezer, with the dated sticker visible
- Confirmation that no one on site needs colder settings for a medical or food-safety reason before leaving the setting in place
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786672244596_vx4hr8a","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
