intermediate work · a resident's own home near the town center, Columbus, TX 78934 (own-home, best-estimate location near the town center)

Reshape the dryer's crushed vent duct behind the machine, a resident's own home near the town center, Columbus, TX 78934 (own-home, best-estimate location near the town center).

Fund it for $30. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$30 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

The flexible vent duct behind this dryer was pinched flat when the machine was last pushed back against the wall. Nothing here is clogged with lint; the duct itself is physically crushed, so airflow is choked no matter how clean the line is, and every load runs longer than it should.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Unplug the dryer from its outlet, or confirm with the resident that the breaker feeding it is off, before doing any work behind or underneath it.
  2. With the resident present, using furniture sliders under the front feet or a two-person lift, pull the dryer straight out from the wall a short distance, keeping it upright and never tilting it more than a slight lean.
  3. Inspect the flexible or semi-rigid duct section connecting the dryer to the wall vent. Where it is crushed or kinked flat, reshape it back to a full round profile by hand, or loosen the hose clamps and swap the crushed segment for a same-diameter replacement duct piece, using hose clamps only, no fasteners driven into the wall or floor.
  4. Slide the dryer back to the wall leaving the manufacturer's clearance gap so the duct is not immediately re-crushed, plug it back in, and photograph the restored duct run and the reconnected power cord.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the crushed or kinked duct section
  • After photo of the duct restored to a full round profile or replaced with a same-diameter section
  • Confirmation that the unit was unplugged (or the breaker confirmed off) before it was moved, and plugged back in after
  • Confirmation that no fasteners were driven into the wall or floor and no gas line, burner, or flue was touched

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786672466049_g2f115p","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
