Prune the shade vine and check its frame each dormant season.

Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

A vine trained onto a library window frame will happily grow past it, onto the siding, into the gutter, or into the roofline if nobody prunes it back, and a frame that has shifted can let the vine reach the wall it was built to stay clear of. The dormant-season prune plus a frame and gap check are what keep this rung working as a shade device that improves every year instead of becoming an overgrowth or moisture problem.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. In the dormant season, after leaf-drop and before spring growth resumes, confirm the frame with library staff and photograph its current growth extent.
  2. 2. Prune back any growth that has crossed onto the siding, gutter, or roofline with hand pruners, keeping the vine trained to the frame only.
  3. 3. Check the frame's footings and the gap between the frame and the wall; if the gap has closed anywhere to less than 6 to 8 inches, correct the frame's position before the growing season resumes.
  4. 4. Photograph the pruned vine and the checked, corrected frame, and record the gap measurement.

What counts as done

  • Written or recorded confirmation from library staff before any work
  • Confirmation that the standoff gap between the frame and the wall measured at least 6 to 8 inches after the check
  • Before photo of the vine before pruning
  • After photo of the pruned vine and checked frame

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786674070056_ivk392y","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
