intermediate work · the public library serving Marfa, Marfa, TX 79843 (Presidio County; best-estimate location near the town center, branch name and hours to be confirmed with library staff, exact address not confirmed)

Wash the outside AC unit's coil fins clean with a garden hose, the public library serving Marfa.

Fund it for $35. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$35 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Pollen, dust, and fine grit have packed into the millimetre-wide gaps between this library's outdoor unit's coil fins, the finest-scale obstruction in this ladder, finer than the feet of crowding and the inches of matted debris already cleared, and nobody has ever washed them out.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Power off the outdoor unit at its own outdoor disconnect switch before anything touches the cabinet, the base, or the coil, and confirm the disconnect is off before starting.
  2. Remove the top grille or fan shroud only if it lifts off by hand without tools; if it is fastened down, wash through the fins as installed rather than forcing anything open.
  3. Confirm with library staff how the unit's coil has been serviced before, then using a garden hose on a gentle spray setting, wash the fins from the inside out, working from the center of the coil outward so loosened dirt is pushed clear of the unit rather than deeper in. Never use a pressure washer or any high-pressure nozzle; the pressure folds the thin fins flat and makes the airflow blockage permanent.
  4. Let the coil drip dry, replace any grille that was removed, and photograph the fins before and after.

What counts as done

  • Confirmation of library staff permission and coordination on site
  • Confirmation that the outdoor disconnect was switched off before the coil was touched
  • Before photo of the packed, dust-caked coil fins
  • After photo of the washed fins
  • Confirmation that only a garden hose on a gentle setting was used, never a pressure washer or high-pressure nozzle

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1786674578105_qyno1bf","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
