advanced work · Bridge crane site, Pittsburgh PA
Check the crane setup and rigging.
Fund it for $540. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$540 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

What the work involvesA crane lift at Bridge crane site, Pittsburgh PA risks power-line contact and tip-over if the setup is wrong. From a safe distance, check outrigger footing, power-line clearance, the barricaded swing zone, and the rigging condition, and route any unsafe lift to the lift director.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- hard hat + safety glasses + hi-vis vest (site PPE)
- tablet/clipboard with the OSHA Subpart CC pre-lift checklist
- camera with zoom (observe from a safe distance)
- tape measure / measuring wheel (setback and barricade distances from the ground)
- the crane's load chart / lift plan for reference
- flashlight
Steps
- 1. Check in with the lift director / crane operator; confirm scope, don PPE, and confirm you observe-and-document from a safe distance only, you never rig, signal, level, or direct the lift (Subpart CC reserves these for the qualified rigger / signal person / operator).
- 2. Ground & setup: photograph and document firm/drained/level ground, full outrigger/stabilizer extension with pads/cribbing, and the crane's level indication (§§1926.1402/.1404).
- 3. Power-line clearance: identify overhead lines and confirm the planned swing/boom keeps the Table A minimum approach distance (default 20 ft for lines ≤350 kV) or that a documented de-energize / encroachment-prevention plan is in place (§1926.1408).
- 4. Swing radius / crush zone: confirm the area swept by the rotating superstructure (counterweight) is barricaded to keep workers out (§1926.1424).
- 5. Personnel & rigging: confirm a qualified signal person + an agreed signal method, a qualified rigger, the load chart / rated capacity posted, and slings/shackles/hooks (with safety latches) in serviceable condition per the rigger's inspection (§§1926.1419/.1425/.1428).
- 6. For each finding, mark the condition against the Subpart CC checklist item, assign a tier (stop-work / correct-before-proceed / monitor), and name the responsible lift director / qualified operator.
- 7. Enter photos, GPS/address, the checklist, and the tiered findings; sign. Route stop-work items to the lift director / operator with a timestamp, never direct or signal the lift.
What counts as done
- Ground/outrigger setup photographed (firm/level, full extension, pads/cribbing, level indication)
- Overhead power-line minimum-approach clearance (Table A, default 20 ft ≤350 kV) and swing-radius/crush-zone barricading confirmed and photographed
- Qualified signal person + qualified rigger + posted load chart + serviceable rigging (slings/shackles/hooks with safety latches) documented
- GPS / address confirm
- Tiered findings list (stop-work / correct-before-proceed / monitor) with the lift director / qualified operator named + timestamp of stop-work items routed
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787178023067_zeyx5kj","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
