What the work involves

Braddock lives beside the Edgar Thomson steel works, downwind of the Clairton coke plant, in the Mon Valley air basin that records some of the worst fine-particle days in the eastern United States. Dated street-level logs of odor, haze, and visible emissions from public ground are the community record that county air enforcement actions cite.
