What the work involves

The 2020 Almeda Fire burned through Talent and Phoenix along the Bear Creek corridor and destroyed thousands of homes, many in manufactured-home parks. Rebuilt homes are going back in with the same vulnerable details (open vents, debris-filled gutters, dry vegetation against the skirting) that let wind-blown embers in the first time. A photo survey of one invited home's ignition points gives the household a concrete fix list.
