Photograph the algal bloom line and storm outfalls along Lakeport's Clear Lake shore.

Fund it for $160. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$160 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Clear Lake is the oldest lake in North America and Lakeport's front yard, but summer cyanobacteria blooms now paint its shoreline green and close it to swimmers most years. The blooms feed on nutrients washing in from town and creek outfalls. A regular photo record of which outfalls flow, what they carry, and where the bloom sits gives the county's lake managers ground truth they cannot collect everywhere themselves.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Walk the public shoreline path and photograph each storm outfall from a dry standing point, noting whether it flows.
  2. Photograph the bloom edge and water color against fixed landmarks like dock pilings.
  3. Note any posted advisory signs and their condition.
  4. Record wind, weather, and the date and time with each photo.
  5. Upload the full photo set with GPS so visits build a season-long record.

What counts as done

  • Photos of each outfall with GPS and timestamp
  • Bloom-line photos against fixed landmarks
  • Weather and advisory-sign notes

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787181696186_ib6ja6a","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
