Retrieve derelict wire mesh traps still catching off the pier pilings, the public bay-front fishing pier, Port Bolivar, TX 77650 (Galveston County).

Fund it for $95. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$95 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

A cluster of small wire mesh traps hangs tied off this public pier's pilings -- set for bait fish or turtles and never untied, they are still funneling in and holding whatever swims into the mesh because no one has come back to check them.

Proof
before photo + TPWD coordination confirm (noted if a turtle held) + reach-pole/no-leaning confirm + catch-release photo + after photo + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. From the pier or dock deck, locate each trap by its tie-off line at the piling or rail; confirm none show recent tending (line fouled, trap silted, no one claiming them).
  2. 2. Confirm coordination with a TPWD game warden before removing traps that are not unmistakably abandoned, particularly any holding a turtle -- turtle trapping in Texas public water is tightly restricted and the warden's office documents the find.
  3. 3. Untie or cut each trap's line at the piling and haul the trap up onto the deck by hand or reach pole; never reach or lean over the rail toward the water.
  4. 4. Open each trap on the deck, release any live catch back over the rail toward open water, and empty out any dead catch and debris.
  5. 5. Coil the retrieved lines, stage the traps for haul-out and disposal or recycling, and photograph the cleared pilings.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the tied-off traps at the pilings
  • Confirmation of TPWD game warden coordination, noted especially if any trap held a turtle
  • Confirmation traps were hauled by hand or reach pole from the deck, with no leaning or reaching over the rail
  • Photo of any live catch released and each trap emptied
  • After photo of the cleared pilings with GPS

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Coastal Habitat. Coastal habitat is the green fringe where land meets sea: eelgrass meadows, kelp beds, salt marsh. Acre for acre these are among the most life-giving places on Earth, nursery to the fish and buffer to the storm, and NOAA's assessment methods exist because they are quietly shrinking. Mastery looks like a person who can survey a stretch of shore and say, with evidence, whether the meadow is spreading or retreating. This packet is one piece of that watching: one site, one careful observation, one record added to the long ledger of the coast.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787184594540_9jn1y67","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
