intermediate work · the public creek-bank access, Taft, TX 78390 (San Patricio County); best-estimate location near the town center, exact address not confirmed
Retrieve a staked hoop net still catching.
Fund it for $110. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$110 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesA hoop net sits staked in the shallows of a creek feeding Nueces Bay near this public access -- its funnel entrance still open and its tag gone or expired, it keeps drawing in and holding fish and turtles that swim in and cannot find their way back out, because nobody has run it in weeks.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- 1. From the bank, locate the net's stake and float and confirm it carries no current tag and shows no sign of a recent check.
- 2. Confirm coordination with a TPWD game warden or the regional inland fisheries office before removing a net that is not unmistakably abandoned.
- 3. Using a reach pole or by hand from the bank, draw the net's stake and frame toward the bank; never wade into the creek to reach it.
- 4. Open the net's tail end on the bank, release any live catch back toward the water, and empty out any dead catch and debris.
- 5. Coil the net and its lines, pull the stake, stage everything for haul-out and disposal, and photograph the cleared spot.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the staked net in the shallows
- Confirmation of TPWD coordination before removal
- Confirmation retrieval was by hand or reach pole from the bank, no wading
- Photo of any live catch released and the net emptied
- After photo of the cleared spot with GPS
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787184659699_989cj4w","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
