1. Flag planting spots along the perimeter beds, favoring the low points that already catch runoff; photograph each spot before.
2. Dig, plant and backfill each container shrub with a watering basin formed around it.
3. Deep-water each plant in and mark it with a dated tag.
4. Photograph each planted, basined, watered shrub and log the count/species.
