1. Work the blocked-inlet list from the latest survey or walk the assigned blocks after leaf fall.
2. Rake leaves and debris off each grate from the curb, keeping hands and tools out of the opening.
3. Bag the debris as yard waste, never sweep it back into the street.
4. Recheck flow paths so water can reach each cleared grate.
5. Photograph each grate before and after clearing, GPS-tagged and dated.
