Swap fresh pads into swamp coolers.

Fund it for $180. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$180 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Most older homes in Del Rey cool with evaporative (swamp) coolers, and once the pads cake with mineral scale the cooler blows hot, damp air while running all day. A pad swap and tray clean before peak summer restores real cooling for farmworker families for the price of a few pads.

Proof
Old pads out, new pads in, unit running: photographed

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Confirm the invited resident's cooler is a window- or ground-mounted unit reachable without a tall ladder.
  2. Unplug the cooler, open the side panels, and remove the old caked pads.
  3. Cut and fit new pads, clear scale from the water tray and pump screen, and reseat the panels.
  4. Plug the unit back in and run it to confirm cool, even airflow.
  5. Photograph the old pads, the new pads installed, and the running unit, with GPS and date.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the removed caked pads
  • Photo of new pads seated in the open unit
  • Photo of the reassembled unit running, GPS and date

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787193086502_6z4io0v","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
