Steps

1. Walk the mapped blocks and find every street tree younger than about three years.
2. Give each young tree 10 to 15 gallons slowly at the root zone.
3. Pull weeds from the basin and refresh the mulch ring away from the trunk.
4. Flag any dead, broken, or vandalized tree in the record.
5. Photograph a sample of watered trees with GPS and date and log the count watered.
