Anyone can start here · Public road shoulders, Broadway and Elk River Road edges, Eureka, CA 95501

Haul away the dumped debris on Eureka's greenbelt shoulders before it reaches the bay.

Fund it for $220. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$220 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Couches, tires, and construction scrap get dumped along the wooded shoulders off Broadway and the greenbelt edges of Eureka, and winter rain washes what breaks down straight into Humboldt Bay's sloughs. Each cleared pile keeps trash out of the bay and makes the next dumper less likely to add to it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Photograph the dump pile in place before touching it, from the public shoulder.
  2. Sort what is safe to handle with gloves: furniture, bagged trash, tires, scrap wood.
  3. Leave any drums, unlabeled containers, needles, or suspected hazardous material untouched and photograph them for a report to Humboldt County Environmental Health.
  4. Load the safe debris and take it to the Hawthorne Street transfer station during open hours.
  5. Photograph the cleared site and the disposal receipt.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the pile with GPS and date
  • After photo of the cleared shoulder
  • Transfer-station receipt or drop-off photo

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787194004860_nfgt2lc","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
